I have been making hand-made hand-painted chocolates since I was 12 years old.
Over the years I have learned a variety of techniques to increase the appeal and taste of my chocolates.
There are many brands of chocolates that can be used. So be careful if you are thinking about making these on your own. Some wafers turn out to be very "waxy". I buy my wafers from a local merchant who sells MERCKENS. This brand is very smooth and creamy which makes creating my products more enjoyable. In addition, it is one of my favorites in the "taste" department - a very rich taste with a creamy texture.
I have enjoyed designing and creating my own products throughout the years. I have discovered that my enjoyment increased when I gave them as gifts, or made them for party favors or served them at baby showers, wedding showers and birthday parties.
